Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Bangs, TX Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,008 to $1,152 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.00/Hpurly. Summary: A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) assists occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients with physical, developmental, or emotional challenges. The COTA helps patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and regain independence through therapeutic exercises and activities. Responsibilities: Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the occupational therapist. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and daily living activities. Help patients improve mobility, coordination, and motor skills. Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment use. Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising occupational therapist.
