We have a fantastic Maintenance Technician opportunity available with our Timber Ridge Apartments in Abilene, TX ! Come be a part of a team where we are IN IT TOGETHER! Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, On-Call rotation 1 week every 3 weeks Location: Timber Ridge Apartments 3602 Rolling Green Drive Abilene, TX 79606 Responsibilities: -Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority -Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy -Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC -Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned -Exterior structural maintenance as needed -Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed -Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system Requirements: -High school diploma or equivalent -1 year experience in the maintenance field preferred -Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience -Light plumbing and electrical experience -HVAC experience and EPA Universal certification a plus -CPO certification preferred -Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers -Assist in property grounds maintenance -Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation Benefits and Compensation: - Competitive pay ($22-$26 hourly!) - Quarterly Bonuses! - On-Call Bonus! - Tuition reimbursement program - Power tool and Tool reimbursement program - Paid Time Off - Holiday Paid Time Off - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Life and Disability Insurance - Housing Discounts A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
