seeking a skilled Operations & Maintenance Technician II (OMT II)
to ensure the high-performance operation and maintenance of our
power facility. This role is essential for maintaining plant
reliability, safety, and environmental compliance, whether assigned
to a shift or the maintenance team. You will be responsible for
operating, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of
mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment critical to
our mission. The ideal candidate is a proficient technician capable
of managing complex systems—such as gas and steam turbines,
generators, and water treatment equipment—with minimal guidance
while strictly adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
This is a full-time position that requires an individual
contributor who is authorized to work in the USA. (INDMFG) What
You’ll Be Working On: Plant Operations & Maintenance: Operate and
maintain simple cycle power generating facility equipment,
including heat recovery steam generators, air compressors, and fire
suppression systems, with minimal guidance or assistance. Technical
Troubleshooting & Repair: Adeptly troubleshoot, diagnose, and
repair defective plant equipment such as pumps, valves, fans,
gearboxes, and turbine components in a timely fashion. System
Inspections & Data Recording: Perform an "Inspection of Watch" on
each plant system and record data from meters and gauges—including
temperature, vibration, fluid levels, and water chemistry—to verify
operating conditions. Water Chemistry Management: Perform analysis
on HRSG, auxiliary boiler, and cooling tower systems, making
necessary adjustments to chemical feed and blowdown rates to ensure
chemistry remains within proper control ranges. Electrical &
Mechanical Tasks: Responsible for opening and closing circuit
breakers for system operation or electrical isolation, and
performing piping and conduit installation for plant upgrades.
Operational Documentation: Utilize the facility’s computerized
maintenance management system (CMMS), assist with the development
of O&M procedures, and write routine reports or work requests.
Safety & Regulatory Adherence: Strictly adhere to all safety and
environmental rules, facility safety programs, and plant
environmental permits to protect personnel and public safety.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with vendors for
chemical ordering and timely equipment repairs, and assist in
performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of failures. Continuous
Improvement: Perform general housekeeping and painting projects to
maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all plant areas and the
control room. What You’ll Bring to the Team: Education: High School
diploma or equivalent is required. Technical Literacy: Ability to
read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical one-lines, logic
drawings, technical manuals, and P&IDs. Maintenance Expertise:
Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, instrumentation, and
electrical equipment, including proficiency in repairing,
replacing, and dismantling defective parts. Analytical Skills:
Adept at diagnosing problems with mechanical equipment and
performing water chemistry analysis. Communication & Training:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to
train other personnel and write operating procedures. Fabrication &
Tool Proficiency: Capable of operating welding and cutting
equipment, as well as tools such as drill presses, pipe threading
machines, and grinders. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform
walking, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Operational Flexibility: Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating
shift and be available for call-ins and work overload as needed.
Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the USA. Safety and
Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position
and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol
program participation is required. Bonus Points: Associates Degree
(AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. Two
to four years of related power plant experience and/or training.
Experience operating heavy equipment such as man lifts and
forklifts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and

Compensation: Compensation will be paid in the range of $41 -
$47/HR Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers.
Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education,
experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal
