This is a 1st Shift position: Monday – Thursday 5 am – 3:30 pm Job Summary: You will work as a Mechanic supporting either the Columbus Engine Center (CEC) or the Military Engine Center of Excellence (MECoE). In this role, you will perform turbine engine, engine module, and component maintenance in accordance with published work instructions and approved technical data. What You Will Do: Utilize common hand tools as well as a wide variety of tooling and fixtures to perform disassembly/assembly of engines, engine modules and components Ensure all phases of assembly/disassembly, as specified by work instructions, comply with required self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes ensuring adherence to quality standards. Monitor and ensure processes meet Safety, Quality and Delivery objectives. Qualifications You Must Have: HS Diploma or GED equivalent 1 years’ experience in aviation mechanic role or appropriate technical training (ASE certification or military equivalent) Basic understanding of Disassembly, Assembly, Test (DAT).
