In this role as a Deployment Squad Business Process Manager or Director, you will be a key member of the finance systems transformation delivery team, known internally as Project MasterChef. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the Masterchef deployment is a success in each geography covered by the squad, working with local finance teams to identify and meet the local Legal Statutory Tax and Regulatory ('LSTR') requirements and feedback to the Central Process team any evolution of the Global template that would be required. You will understand and translate business needs, working closely with the rest of the squad, local finance, the Central Process team, system integration (SI) partners, to implement the target system (SAP S/4 Hana public cloud for Professional Services).
Key Areas of Focus

  • Understand local requirements.
  • Translate LSTRs into implementable functional requirements
  • Work with the Central Team to validate and translate the additional requirements which should be part of the global template
  • Manage business stakeholder, set up and facilitate workshops / meetings to ensure requirements are captured, functional specs written, data migration, tests and training carried out and local SMEs developed.
  • Contribute to the change management activities
  • Perform analysis as needed, including data review
    • Problem solving, analytical skills and decision making- Being able to independently resolve issues/problems using critical thinking, analysis and data always keeping the big picture in mind, but also reach out for advice and counsel when you need it. You maintain a high level of intellectual agility and resourcefulness when faced with significant ambiguity and fluctuating priorities and constraints. You have the tenacity to drive problems to resolution.
    • Bringing a business perspective to financial operations and accounting- Interest in understanding how the business operates and how that translates into financials including processes and reporting
    • Tech Savvy - Having a passion around how technology can support business transformation, and are comfortable and eager to learn and engage with technical problems and team members
    • Teaming with people across the organization- deploying clear communication skills, being an active listener who knows how to manage customers across all levels of the organization. Building lasting relationships and are a strong cross- functional teammate, capable of working across geographies and practices. Demonstrated customer service motivation.
    • Working independently- Being self-motivated and take initiative. You look for opportunities to chip in and work well with a virtual team. You're enthusiastic about working with a distributed global group team, and comfortable being responsive and flexible across time zones.
    • Managing across many workstreams and deliverables maintaining a keen eye on the details-Able to multitask, prioritize and manage multiple deliverables with realistic but aggressive deadlines and commitments. Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
    • Influencing as change agent - open to communicate and coordinate with delivery teams and global cross-functional stakeholders to encourage understanding and adoption of new ways of working
      • Knowledge of US GAAP (or IFRS) accounting
      • Language and global skills: High fluency English, global experience preferred
      • Experience in SAP preferred, ideally within an S/4 Hana public cloud environment
      • Jira knowledge is a plus
      • Experience working in large scale delivery programs preferred
      • Proficiency with MS Office applications (heavy usage of Powerpoint)
        Project MasterChef includes a broad range of IT and Finance team members dedicated to the initiative including our Systems integrator and Vendor partners. You will also collaborate with colleagues across our Local, Global and Regional Finance teams, as well as other global functions and cross functional teams (e.g. Global Accounting, BI&A, HR, Staffing etc.)
