For more information about River Crest Hospital, please visit our website at POSITION SUMMARYThe Admissions/Intake RN is a registered professional nurse who is responsible for assessing the medical bond behavioral needs of the patient and assisting in the process of responding to referrals and other requests for services and information.Sign-on Bonus: $5,000 with commitment. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONSEducation: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor'sDegree preferred.Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facilitypreferred.Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.Additional Requirements: A working knowledge of the DSM-IVR and the Mental Status Exam. A working knowledge of the Addiction and Recovery field. CPR certification and successful completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training.
