Harris Avenue ,San Angelo, TX 76903Facility Name:Shannon Medical CenterRN needed for busy stroke/neuro 6 South Unit. Recent (within 2 years) Epic Experience, preferred. BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Previous Travel experience, 2 recent references.Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care and support in a variety of healthcare settings- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians- Perform specialized procedures such as spinal taps, gastric lavage, and airway management- Assist with medical imaging procedures and interpret results- Provide specialized care for patients with special needs, including ostomy care and dementia care- Perform esthetic laser treatments and dermal filler injections- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth to document patient information accuratelySkills:- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures and protocols- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and healthcare protocolsJob Types: Travel nursing, ContractPay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hourMedical specialties:* Medical-Surgical* Surgery* Trauma MedicinePhysical setting:* Acute care* Hospital* Level III trauma center* Level II trauma center* Level I trauma centerStandard shift:* Day shift* Evening shift* Night shiftAbility to commute/relocate:* San Angelo, TX 76903: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
