DescriptionResponsibilitiesRiver Crest Hospital (a UHS
facility):River Crest Hospital is a modern, 80-bed psychiatric
hospital, specializing in the treatment of mental health and
substance use disorders that can afflict individuals of all ages,
from children and teens to adults and the elderly. We provide acute
inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and addiction treatment

SUMMARYThe Admission LVN is accountable for coordinating the
Assessment and Referral activities at the facility. This position
involves extensive contact with the community and interfaces
closely with the Director, utilization review staff, River Crest
Hospital business office staff and clinical staff to insure
continuity of communication. This position is also responsible for
inquiry calls, insurance verification, payment collections at the
time of admission and scheduling of evaluations and
admissions.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONSEducation: High school
diploma. Prefer some college or equivalent experience in a health
care related field.Experience: Minimum of two (2) years' experience
in a customer-service field, preferably in a health care setting.
Demonstrated knowledge of computer skills and demonstrated
knowledge of customer service principles.Licensure: LVN/ LPN
license required.Additional Requirements: CPR and HWC training as
outlined in New Hire Policy must be completed before providing
direct care services. Additional Skills: Ability to communicate
over the telephone and in face-to-face situations. Ability to
handle multiple tasks effectively. Ability to maintain the
