Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology - Nuclear Medicine Tech Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:30 - 15:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) License from the State of Texas Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Nuclear Medicine (N) or Certification through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Must-Have: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) Job Description: - Schedule: Monday to Friday with rotating weekly and holiday call - Rotate through General Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac Nuclear Medicine, and Oncology PET/CT - Must be a graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology or Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine - Provide diagnostic nuclear medicine services consistent with clinical education and training - Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and professional standards - Demonstrate clinical competencies to perform nuclear medicine procedures for patients ranging from infants to geriatrics, under the supervision of an interpreting physician - Orientation hours: 16 Please ensure that all required documents, including licenses and certifications, are available when applying.
