Pay Information $2,744 per week About The Position Travel Labor & Delivery RN @ Midland, TX | $2,744/Week | LSI4688 Take your OB nursing career to West Texas with a high-impact travel opportunity in Midland, TX. Join a busy and dynamic Labor & Delivery unit as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN), where you’ll play a vital role in supporting birthing patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postnatal transition care. As an L&D RN, you’ll rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulation, and transition ( note: no postpartum care ). You'll care for neonate, infant, and adult patients in a high-volume 10-bed unit averaging 200–300 births per month. Your responsibilities will include assisting with high-risk deliveries, managing emergency OB situations, and coordinating with obstetricians, NICU staff, and other interdisciplinary providers. This assignment features 12-hour day shifts (3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM), a supportive clinical environment, and a strong orientation program for experienced L&D nurses—even if you're new to travel nursing. 27761173EXPPLAT Job Requirements ? 2 Years L&D Experience ? Must be able to circulate and transition babies ? Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, NIHSS (AWHONN Intermediate/Advanced preferred) ? Must be comfortable with IV therapy, Pitocin, Mag Sulfate, NSTs, triage, APGAR, and emergency OB care Orientation: 36 hours Charting: Cerner (preferred) No travel experience required!
