Job Description:
Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology /
Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum years of
experience required. License: Medical Radiologic Technology License
Certifications: - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT) Certification in Nuclear Medicine - Certification through
the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
Must-Have: - Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic
Technology or Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Description:
Schedule: Monday to Friday with rotating weekly and holiday call.
Rotation through General Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac Nuclear
Medicine, and Oncology PET/CT. Provides diagnostic medical nuclear
medicine services that are consistent with clinical education and
training. Services are performed in accordance with facility
policies, procedures, and professional standards. Individuals will
demonstrate clinical competencies to perform nuclear medicine
procedures ranging in age from infant to geriatric. All procedures
will be performed under the supervision of interpreting
physicians.
