Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • 36 or 48 hours per week schedule options available • 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule (Saturday/Sunday) • 12-hour orientation provided • Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Daily census of 35 patients with 38 beds total • Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients required • 2 years of experience in service line required • Travel experience preferred • Must be at least 150 miles from facility • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) • Charting system experience required, Altera experience preferred • Skills include cardiac telemetry, blood product administration, central line care, chest tubes, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, wound care, and managing cardiac/vasoactive drips • Facility conducts mandatory drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing • Must complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer • Non-billable modules averaging 6-8 hours completed during orientation • Hard document deadline: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start date Facility: This medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with a 38-bed medical surgical telemetry unit.
