Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Abilene, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,218 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Abilene, Texas, 79601! Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: Active RN license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC. Must-Have: Craniotomy and burr hole experience required. Description: Registered Nurse in the Main Operating Room. Start date options are early February. The schedule includes Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday with call and late days as needed. Experience in Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, and General/Robotics procedures required. Candidates must have previous charge experience preferred. Familiarity with Allscripts charting system preferred. Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services. Patient age groups served include Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics. Daily census and specific patient diagnoses are variable. A variety of special procedures involving neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general/robotics are performed. Candidates should be prepared to complete all required lab items within 72 hours of accepting the position. Experience traveling is preferred. Compliance with drug screening policies is mandatory. All documentation must be submitted by the due date communicated.
