Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 License: Active Registered Nurse License required Certifications: ACLS BLS PALS Must-Have: Previous charge experience Patient ratio experience of 1:1 Description: The role involves working in an Outpatient Surgery Center. There will be no call, no weekends, and no holidays required. Candidates should have experience in various surgical procedures. Skills required include abdominoplasty, ambulating in an OR, ankle fusion, breast augmentation, and more. Experience with the charting system is preferable. The patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates must be able to manage a 1:1 patient ratio during shifts. The facility conducts its own drug screening upon arrival. A positive result in the drug screening will result in automatic cancellation of the application. Candidates should be cautious of any substances that may result in a positive drug screening, including CBD products. Previous permanent staff must have been gone for one year in order to return.
