Required License: Texas Medical Board-MRT Certifications: ARRT
Registered, CPR-BLS Must-Have: - Travel experience - ARRT
Certification Description: Seeking a Diagnostic X-Ray Technician
for an acute care setting. Candidates must have two years of
experience and travel experience. Work schedule includes Saturday,
Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 12:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Call
responsibilities are required. Start date is expected within the
next 3-5 weeks. Candidates must possess the following
certifications: - ARRT Registered - Texas Medical Board-MRT -
CPR-BLS Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with
the following procedures and skills is required: - Barium enema
procedures - Myelography - C-Arm procedure - Portable procedures -
Radiation safety The patient age groups include neonates,
adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The work
environment includes various departments such as emergency, ICU,
and operating room. Please note that a drug screening is mandatory
upon arrival. Candidates should avoid any substances that may lead
to a positive result on the drug screening. This position does not
accept local candidates. Candidates who have previously worked as
permanent staff must have been gone for one year prior to
reapplication as a traveler. All necessary documentation must be
completed in a timely manner following acceptance of the offer.
