About the Facility Location The facility is located in El Paso, Texas. About the Clinician's Workday The position offers 8- and 10-hour shifts in a Level II trauma center with 38 ED beds and an annual volume of 42,000 patients. Backup specialties include Cardiology, Imaging, Gastroenterology, OBGYN, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, Urology, Stroke Center, Neuro, and Cardiac Rehab. Board Certified or Board Eligible candidates in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine are accepted. The facility provides 48 hours of MD coverage, 20 hours of APC coverage, and 40 hours of scribe support. An active Texas license and DEA are required, along with ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications. ABEM-certified candidates must have proof of ATLS certification at some point. The EMR system used is Cerner.
