This role focuses on supporting occupational therapists in providing comprehensive therapy to patients aiming for optimal recovery and independence. You will work in varied settings including inpatient, home health, and hospice environments. This opportunity allows you to contribute directly to the healing and improvement of patient lives through collaborative care planning and delivery. Assist Occupational Therapists in the evaluation and implementation of patient therapy programs. Monitor patient progress and record observations in patient files. Maintain therapy equipment and ensure all spaces meet hygiene and safety standards. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises. Adapt treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist as patient needs evolve. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle physical aspects of patient assistance Excellent observational and reporting abilities Proficiency in using healthcare software and systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) preferably CPR certified
