Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is looking for a dedicated and
compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our diverse team
of healthcare professionals. We are committed to delivering
high-quality care to our patients in both facility-based and
home-based settings. Our Respiratory Therapists play a critical
role in our patient-focused approach, providing respiratory care
services and support to individuals recovering from various
illnesses and injuries. This position requires a proactive and
empathetic individual who is eager to make a positive impact in the
lives of the patients we serve. Assess patient health status and
develop respiratory care plans. Administer and manage inhalants and
mechanical ventilators. Monitor and record the progress of the
treatment. Educate patients and their families on respiratory
treatments and continuing care requirements. Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide holistic care. Perform
emergency resuscitation and airway management as necessary.
Proficient in using ventilators, oxygen units, and other
respiratory care equipment. Excellent patient assessment and
interpersonal communication skills. Strong critical thinking and
problem-solving abilities. Capable of working independently and in
a team environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the
National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Basic Life Support
(BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certified.
