Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Wound Care Coordinator to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our goal is to provide top-tier patient care in both facility-based and home-based settings, focusing on rehabilitation, home health, and hospice services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of wound care management, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained and that treatment aligns with both patient needs and regulatory guidelines. Evaluate and document patient wound care processes, updating care plans accordingly. Coordinate the wound care program, ensuring compliance with all hospital policies and state regulations. Provide hands-on wound care for patients as needed. Educate and train staff on current wound care protocols and updates. Consult with healthcare providers to create individualized care plans. Monitor treatment outcomes and implement improvements. Manage the wound care supplies inventory. In-depth knowledge of wound care therapies and management. Strong leadership skills and ability to educate and guide staff. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with different healthcare professionals. Proficient in using healthcare databases and patient care management systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) or equivalent. Valid nursing license.
