Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in both facility-based
and home-based patient care, is seeking a dedicated Wound Program
Coordinator for its integrated network of health services. As a
Wound Program Coordinator, you will be pivotal in managing our
wound care program across inpatient rehabilitation and home health
settings. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise in wound
care, program management, and a passion for patient-centric
recovery, ensuring that every individual receives the highest
standard of care tailored to their needs. Develop, implement, and
evaluate the wound care program, ensuring compliance with national
standards and best practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary
teams to integrate and coordinate services across different care
settings. Train and mentor staff on the latest in wound care
treatments and technologies. Monitor patient outcomes and implement
quality improvement initiatives. Engage with patients and their
families to educate and inform them of care processes and
expectations. Oversee the documentation and reporting processes to
ensure accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Participate in research and development activities related to wound
care improvement and innovations. Strong clinical skills in wound
care management. Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to design and lead training sessions. Proficient in data
management and analysis, with a strong acumen for quality
assurance. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable
of working effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Wound
Specialist (CWS) or similar credentials. Registered Nurse (RN)
License.
