Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Wound
Program Coordinator to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team.
In this pivotal role, the coordinator will oversee the wound care
program across our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals
and home health services. This position will ensure high-quality
standards in wound care treatment and prevention practices,
aligning with our commitment to high-quality patient outcomes. The
ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and possess
extensive knowledge in wound management, clinical education, and
leadership in healthcare settings. Develop and oversee the
implementation of wound care protocols and standards across all
facilities. Educate and train healthcare staff on modern wound care
techniques and standards. Conduct regular site visits to ensure
program implementation and compliance. Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team to facilitate comprehensive care planning
and management. Evaluate patient care outcomes and program
effectiveness, making necessary adjustments. Prepare reports and
maintain records of the wound care program’s performance. Proven
ability to develop and implement clinical programs and protocols.
Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent
communication and training skills. Knowledge of the latest trends
and technologies in wound care treatment. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Wound Specialist (CWS)
preferred. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice.
