ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - General, Orthopedic, Neurology,
Trauma, and ENT experience required - Pediatric experience
preferred - Flexibility in schedule required Description: Seeking
an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a fast-paced surgical unit.
Position requires experience in general surgery, orthopedic
surgery, neurological surgery, trauma, and ENT procedures.
Pediatric experience is preferred. The schedule will vary each
week, with no guaranteed set days off. Variable shifts, including
3x12s or 4x10s, will be discussed during the interview, along with
call requirements. Call frequency averages 3-6 days in a 28-day
cycle. Weekend coverage may be required, approximately every 4th or
5th weekend. The operating room consists of 13 rooms and a daily
patient census of 35-40 across all age groups from infants to
geriatrics. Experience with various surgical procedures, including
laparoscopic cases, trauma surgery, and robotic surgery, is
essential. Successful candidates will practice infection control,
safety protocols, and universal patient care standards.
Interdisciplinary collaboration is a key aspect of this role. All
candidates must pass an on-site drug screening prior to commencing
