Registered Nurse (RN) | Ambulatory Care Location: Abilene, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,586 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Surgery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years in outpatient surgery License: Active Registered Nurse License required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience in ambulatory OR procedures - Familiarity with endoscopic sinus procedures - Ability to assist in laparoscopic cases - Experience with pediatric dentistry and various surgical procedures Description: The Registered Nurse will work in an outpatient surgery setting. This role involves no call, no weekends, and no holidays. The RN will provide care to adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The nurse will be responsible for observing and maintaining proper patient ratios. Skills in various surgical procedures, such as tonsillectomy and cholecystectomy, are necessary. The RN is expected to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Maintaining a safe and sterile environment is critical. The position requires attention to detail and strong communication skills. Knowledge of minor procedures, such as myringotomy and hernia repairs, is essential.
