This role is vital in assisting occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans and helping patients regain their ability to perform daily living and work activities. Assist occupational therapists in the assessment of patients' level of function and development of treatment plans Implement therapeutic activities guided by the therapist to enhance patients' abilities Document patient progress and response to treatments Help patients use necessary occupational therapy equipment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work space Educate patients and families regarding care plans and therapy goals Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable using therapy equipment Ability to follow detailed instructions Proficient in documenting and maintaining accurate records Empathetic and patient-centric approach Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) License to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment (as required)
