Job Description:

Encompass Health, a leader in integrated healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated Dietary / Nutrition Services Associate to join our multidisciplinary team. This position plays a vital role in delivering personalized nutrition plans and dietary services that support the health recovery of our patients. As part of our team, you will work closely with dietitians and healthcare professionals to ensure the dietary needs of our patients are met with the highest standards of care. This role is pivotal in our mission to provide high-quality, cost-effective care across the post-acute continuum. Assist in the assessment and implementation of patient-specific dietary plans based on medical and physical needs. Prepare and ensure the accuracy of the meals served to patients, adhering to prescribed diet specifications. Monitor patient food intake and report progress and dietary concerns to the registered dietitian. Maintain stringent hygiene and safety practices in all kitchen and food service areas. Participate in the development and implementation of nutritional care plans and patient education on dietary guidelines. Strong understanding of nutritional guidelines and diet planning Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Being detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or similar certification is beneficial. Food Handler's Permit is required (or must be obtained within a specified timeframe after hire).
