Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to
join our dynamic team, focusing on providing superior
rehabilitative care to our patients. This role is pivotal in
helping patients regain their ability to communicate and swallow
effectively, conducting assessments, and crafting personalized
treatment plans in both facility-based and home-based settings. The
ideal candidate will bring a blend of compassion, expertise, and a
commitment to improving patients' quality of life through tailored
therapy solutions. Assess and diagnose speech, language,
cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Design and
implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs in
rehabilitation settings. Track patient progress and adjust
treatments accordingly. Educate patients and families about speech
disorders and communication strategies. Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and other
health professionals to provide comprehensive care. Strong
understanding of speech pathology practices and principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to design
and execute detailed therapy plans. Proficient in the use of speech
therapy tools and technology. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license in Speech-Language
Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language
Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
