Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Brownwood, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,254 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: Active Nursing License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Previous charge experience, experience in mother/baby care, familiarity with charting systems. Description: Preferred start date is March 30, 2026. May consider candidates for 48 hours per week based on volume of needs. Nurse will work in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit. Patient ratios are 2:1 during nights and weekends. The unit has a daily census of 1-5 patients. Candidate must have experience in various procedures related to labor and delivery. Skills required include fetal heart monitoring, vaginal delivery assistance, and care of postpartum patients. The facility provides interdisciplinary support services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Nurse will be responsible for patient assessments and providing education to families. The unit handles high-risk deliveries, including inductions and cesarean sections. Candidate must have experience with antenatal care and the management of laboring patients. Knowledge of current best practices in maternal and neonatal care is essential. Compliance with facility policies and procedures is expected. Positive drug screening is mandatory prior to beginning employment. Experience with specific technologies such as fetal monitoring systems is preferred. Modules may be required during onboarding.
