Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work in emergency department treating patients of all ages from neonates to geriatrics • Handle daily census of approximately 150 patients across 27 rooms • Maintain 4:1 patient ratio during days, nights, and weekends • May be required to float to other emergency departments • 36 or 48 hours per week available • 12 hours of orientation provided • Previous travel experience highly preferred • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required • Graduation from accredited nursing program required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, CPI, NIHSS, NRP, SAFE • Epic charting system experience preferred • Skills include triage, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, 12 lead EKG/ECG, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, IV insertion and maintenance, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation • Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary • Texas nursing license required with submission • Must be available to complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive emergency department providing critical care services to the community.
