Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Midland, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,504 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Midland, Texas, 79701! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. Patient ratio experience preferred. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, NIHSS required. AWHONN Advanced and Intermediate preferred. Must-Have: Previous charge experience required. Description: The Registered Nurse will rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition. Postpartum care is not included. Experience with telemetry interpretation, high-risk antepartum, and the use of external and internal fetal monitoring is essential. Skills include administering medications, managing IVs, and conducting various assessments such as sterile vaginal exams and non-stress tests. The role involves assisting with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Candidates should be familiar with patient management for neonates, infants, and adults. Ability to work with a fluctuating daily census and increased patient visits is necessary.
