As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in our network, you will work under the supervision of our Occupational Therapists to help patients recover and improve their physical functions following injuries or illnesses. Our OTAs play a pivotal role in implementing effective rehabilitation treatments and ensuring patient comfort and progress within inpatient and home-based settings. Assist Occupational Therapists in the evaluation of patients' conditions and development of treatment plans Implement therapeutic processes under the therapist’s supervision to improve patient mobility and function Monitor patient progress and report on their response to treatments Educate patients and their families on home-based therapy exercises Maintain patient records and treatment documentation in accordance with facility policies and compliance standards Ensure treatment areas are prepared, maintaining equipment and supplies Provide insights into patient care plans, adapting interventions as needed Strong interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented with a capacity for critical thinking and problem-solving Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Understanding of patient management software and Microsoft Office suite Knowledge of therapy techniques and patient interaction procedures Adaptability to changing environments and patient needs Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) State license as an OTA where required CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications preferred
