Occupational Therapist Location: Snyder, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,571 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant Profession: Occupational Therapy Assistant Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years in Long Term Care setting License: Texas or compact license Description: Executes specialized therapy plans designed by the Occupational Therapist. Guides patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve motor skills and coordination. Teaches patients how to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and eating, often using adaptive techniques. Instructs patients and families on how to use special tools like reachers, mobility aids, or modified kitchen utensils. Records detailed notes on patient progress, behavioral changes, and safety concerns. Reports findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatment plans as needed. Provides emotional encouragement to patients and trains caregivers on how to assist with home programs. Prepares treatment areas and cleans equipment. May handle administrative duties such as scheduling. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
