Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to join
our team of healthcare professionals. As a leader in integrated

to work in both facility-based and home-based settings across 42
states. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing
high-quality, cost-effective care tailored to the needs of
post-acute patients. This role involves assessing and treating
speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, aiding in patient
rehabilitation, and working collaboratively with a
multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive
treatment plans. Evaluate patient speech, language, voice, and
swallowing abilities and impairments. Develop and execute tailored
treatment plans to address patient-specific needs. Collaborate with
healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Educate patients and families about management and improvement
strategies for speech disorders. Document patient progress and
adjust treatments as necessary. Participate in continuing education
and professional development activities. Proficiency in various
speech therapy techniques and tools Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and in a
team setting Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

state license as a Speech Therapist Certificate of Clinical
Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American
