Prepare meals according to prescribed patient dietary needs Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures Rotate stock items as per established procedures Collaborate with dietitians to adjust menus for patient needs Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and food garnish Maintain kitchen equipment in good condition and report any malfunctions Ability to follow recipes and directions accurately Knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutrition Proficient in handling kitchen equipment safely Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe) is highly desirable Culinary training or related certificates would be an advantage
