Vice President of Sales

We are searching for an experienced Vice President of Sales at our San Angelo - HQ location.

Basic Function of Position:

In this role you will provide the overall direction and leadership to sales personnel within the area of responsibility to achieve sales goals within the sales expense budget. Expect excellence and professionalism from all sales personnel in performance of their functions. Be part of the management team by understanding and managing the sales role in achieving the division's revenue, profit and retention goals.

About the Position:

Attain or exceed 100% of assigned sales quota within required product mix.

Prepare a business plan to identify how the company will achieve the assigned sales goals.

Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth.

Meet monthly with sales executive and manager to review sales and expense performance while assessing the coaching, counseling, motivation and leadership skills of each team member.

Obtain from sales management written action plans that will improve the performance of sales personnel who are under desired quota levels.

Provide coaching, counseling and direction to direct reports to ensure their continued professional growth and development.

Work closely with other functional areas to ensure the smooth implementation of sales.

Review corporate lead generating activities to determine results and manage multiple channel selling strategies.

Bring to the attention of Sales and Marketing the needs of the marketplace.

Builds, develops, and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.

Responsible for human resource management activities for the maintenance of proper staffing levels, attainment of desired employee retention rates, harmonious employee relations, monitoring performance management plans, and incorporating excellent employee communication channels.

Insures that quarterly communication meetings are conducted by Sales Management.

Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets.

Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.

Qualifications Required:

BS in Marketing or Business Administration.

8 + years total sales experience plus substantial senior sales management experience, with a proven ability to manage a large sales team. Individual should be recognized with outstanding leadership skills, professionalism and business planning capability. Operate to achieve sales, revenue, profit and client retention objectives.

Understanding of all TimeClock Plus, LLC product capabilities.

Successful experience selling Time and Attendance to B2B and B2C.

Experience utilizing a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data.
